Hotel Canyon

Every morning we had breakfast in the sunshine on the communal balcony, which faces straight over the Canyon and the waterfall at the far end. The setting is stunning, and the hotel is right in the center, near both fancy and simple family run bars and restaurants. Even so, it’s very quiet, perched above a small cobbled street. You reach it on foot. Our taxi driver called the manager, who speaks English, and Georges, who lives 50m from the hotel door, came to meet us. He helped with our luggage and showed us through the locked front gate into a pretty courtyard, then onto the balcony and to our room. The shower is shared, small and basic, but the water pressure is very strong. Downstairs there’s a little kitchen with a microwave, fridge freezer, double sink, kettle, cups and cutlery. There’s also an iron and ironing board in the hall. The white cotton linen and large white towel were beautifully clean. The gate and bedroom doors have good security, and we felt very safe. The sulphur baths are just a 5 minute walk away, a real treat. Highly recommended. 👌
