The rooms were nice for a reasonable price, with high ceilings and a cool theme. The staff were the best, too. We’re two Canadian brothers traveling the world for three weeks. After our flight was canceled, the replacement was delayed and our bags got lost. We’d booked here on a whim and didn’t arrive until around 6 a.m. The staff let us sleep in, didn’t fuss about checkout, and were relaxed about payment. Our luggage was eventually found and delivered to the hotel. They also helped us set up our SIM cards and get our bearings around town. Their kindness made this easily our best budget travel experience so far. Highly recommend.

The breakfast was delicious, and the people were lovely and helpful. Conditions were good, with fast Wi-Fi in both the room and dining area. There’s air conditioning and a nice backyard, too.

Getting around is convenient, with two metro stations and bus routes nearby, including the airport bus. It takes about 30 minutes and costs the same as any other city bus. The Old Town is 3 km away, around a 40-minute walk, though exploring Tbilisi is a special treat. There are also affordable restaurants and grocery shops in the area. The rooms are quite comfortable, and it’s good value for money. The hotel has wonderful, very friendly staff. As of May 2019, it was under new ownership and had a new name, Marseille Plus. The owners also have another hotel a few blocks south called Marseille.

We found this place by chance. It cost 70 GEL a night for two, and the inside was beautiful. There’s an inner courtyard, air conditioning, and a bathroom in the room. There’s a TV too, though it only gets one channel.
