Hotel Nine

There isn't a restaurant at Nine Hotel, though there are plenty of places to eat nearby. The heating worked well and kept the room warm, which matters in colder months. My windows worked fine and looked out over the city, but street noise could be a problem for light sleepers, so earplugs may help. The room was well kept, although the mattress felt a bit old. The location is convenient for exploring and the staff were welcoming and helpful. It's a decent, pleasant and affordable base in Tbilisi, with a few minor inconveniences.

We returned to Nine Hotel three times on our recent trip to Georgia because we liked the clean rooms, friendly staff, and location. It's close to Old Town, the Metro, and shops, and the transfer to and from the airport was excellent. The price is absolutely affordable.

The room was nice, though there weren't good places nearby to buy food, so bring groceries back after a day exploring Tbilisi. The Metro is close, and historical sights are within walking distance. You're near the old town, and taxis are easy to catch, just make sure to pay only 2 to 5 lari for trips around the city. The Nine Hotel staff, including the manager, were so friendly that they treated us like friends. We chatted through the day, they offered us a glass of sweet white wine, and they were always ready to answer questions. Thanks to Torniq, David, and everyone.

The rooms have what you need, but the second-floor rooms are the best. The ground-floor ones open onto the foyer, especially room 10. Wi-Fi worked, though not in the downstairs breakfast room. It's quiet and close to most tourist areas, and the staff were very friendly and helpful.
