Hotel Splendid Tbilisi

I found it good value for money, and the cleanliness was at the highest level. Reception were very helpful, and the service was great. I'd definitely choose this hotel again on my next trip to Tbilisi, and highly recommend it.

The rooms were spacious and very clean. Sandro at reception went out of his way to help with whatever he could. There's just one elevator, though.

The room cleaning was done properly, with fresh towels every day, and having it happen after 12:00 worked perfectly for me. Most of the rest was frustrating. I waited 10 minutes for someone to appear at reception for check-in, and the elevator was slow or sometimes didn't work. With no luggage service, some guests dragged suitcases down the stairs; I could hear it clearly in my room at 07:45. The hallways had no lights, so after coming in from daylight I couldn't see my way to my room. Twice, at 08:30 in the morning, someone entered without knocking. Other guests were waiting behind them, apparently to come in or pick up a child's T-shirt or something that had fallen on my balcony, but when I checked, there wasn't even a T-shirt there. I drank still and sparkling water from the minibar, but it wasn't restocked for the next four days. The AC didn't work properly either, and the small shower left the whole bathroom floor wet. The laundry service was the worst part: they wanted me to count everything and write it on a form. Why not just take my laundry bag and return all of it, as another laundry service company in Tbilisi did?

The family room was big enough for four of us, and the breakfast was delicious. The workers were kind and very good. One of the best hotels in tibilis, especially because of the General Manager, Mrs.Tamara Barkaia.
