Right in the center, this small, cozy hotel was quiet and clean. The older manager was polite and gave useful tips for getting around the city.

The shower in room #1 leaked and flooded the floor, the one real drawback. The room otherwise had hardly anything to complain about and felt like a solid 3* for the price. We were allowed into a free four-bed room at 6 a.m. so we could sleep and shower, then the staff moved our clothes to our room at 11 a.m. They were excellent. The hotel is also in an ideal location, on a quiet side street near the Rustaveli Opera House.

The location is the hotel's one real plus. We chose it because we needed to stay in that particular area, and the price is much lower than what's currently on offer in Tbilisi. The bed was made up with two single sheets at first. When we asked for a king-size setup, they changed it, though at first they said everyone was happy with the original arrangement. The mattress needs replacing: the springs dig into your ribs, and you wake up feeling wrecked. The pillow is lumpy too. There's mold in the shower, and it leaks. The reviews don't match the description.

The rooms were quiet and clean, and the location was convenient for exploring the city. There were a few problems with the shower drain, but nothing serious. Staff are few, yet someone was always there when I needed them.

For a reasonable price, this is a good place to stay. The rooms were clean, the staff very friendly, and the location was great. It was quiet enough to sleep without being disturbed. I recommend it.
