The ground-floor homestay was the main reason I chose this place. I was tired of climbing stairs. The host is very kind and friendly, though I did miss having a fridge and a trash can. There are two tables and two large wardrobes. Marjanishvili metro is 4 min away, and the river is about 5 min away.

The room was smelly and uncomfortable, with old Soviet-era furniture, and the place felt really creepy. The shower and toilet were horribly cramped and shared with the owner, who lives right beside the room with her dogs and cats. I’d run away from here. Very creepy.

For travelers who just need an inexpensive, simple place, this small hostel works well. The hostess is very pleasant and friendly. She rents out a large room with its own entrance and lives in the room next door.

I arrived to find that it wasn’t operating, even though I’d booked a place through Booking.com. That was an unpleasant surprise, and I had to find somewhere else to stay.
