Middleton Mini-hotel

The location is lovely and calm, and the place feels really cozy. Everyone working there was so nice and sweet. The room needs more attention, though. Even with room service, there was no tissue in the room for two whole days. It wasn't as clean as it should have been, and the bed sheets were bad.

This was the worst of my visits here, and I won't come back or recommend it to anyone. The shower drain overflowed every time, making a mess and a bad smell. At night, the receptionist watched movies with the volume very high until early morning, so it was impossible to sleep. Most of the time, the receptionist was asleep and unhelpful when I needed something. Street noise came through the rooms loudly, which isn't suitable if you need a quiet place to rest. I asked for cleaning four days in a row and nobody came. When the cleaner finally showed up, she complained about making the bed and left the sandy floor uncleaned. The female receptionist spoke rudely to me because I booked through Booking.com instead of directly with her. The receptionist also looked at my personal shopping bags and asked about them in an inappropriate way.

We stayed two nights as a family. The location was good and the room looked relatively clean, but we didn't have a pleasant experience. There isn't an elevator, so we had to carry our luggage up several flights of stairs. At reception, a man was waiting at the entrance smoking. He made us wait until he finished, then spat on the stairs before letting us in. His behavior was strange and gave us the impression he might have been under the influence of substances or alcohol. The next day he asked us for money for a drink, and we saw him trying to kiss a woman who had given him money. We felt very unsafe there. The cleaning lady was the only positive, she was polite and always smiling. Unfortunately, we wouldn't recommend this hotel.

The receptionist is really nice, and the rooms are very clean and fresh. Nice hotel to rest in, with a good location.
