The balcony was a lovely feature, even though the view from our room was of an old building. Breakfast had a nice homemade feel, and the staff were helpful and friendly. We enjoyed our stay more than we expected and would happily come back.

The reception team were brilliant, always smiling and helping us with taxis, SIMs, and even extending our stay. The hotel is in a great spot for exploring Tbilisi on foot, with an exchange office, supermarket, and a very good little bakery downstairs. Our room was spacious and clean, though the linens, mattress, and pillows could be better. The rooftop terrace was a nice place to catch the sunset.

The location was the one thing we liked. We stayed four nights, and our room was never cleaned. The bed sagged in places, was uncomfortable, and creaked whenever we moved. There’s no elevator, which could be especially difficult for older guests. Breakfast was a letdown: by about 10:30 there was barely anything left, and the food was cold, with no sign of a proper kitchen setup. The bathroom and shower are cramped and awkward to use. When we turned on hot water, the pressure became very weak. They left us one roll of toilet paper and never replaced it. The mini fridge didn’t work and wasn’t even plugged in. The room also smelled unpleasant unless we kept the window open because ventilation was poor. Even the mirror was positioned inconveniently and hard to use.

The staff were really nice, and I liked the rooms and the terrace and balcony. But the bed wasn’t clean, there was someone else’s hair on it, and I even found ants in my Coco Pops at the buffet. It didn’t feel clean enough. If you stay, bring your own bedding and food.
