The third-level loft apartment was cozy, with comfortable beds and the facilities we needed. It has two spacious rooms, and it was reassuring to know the family who own the place was just a call or WhatsApp away. Soso and his family made our stay. They helped with city tours, pick-ups and drop-offs, and getting around, including Soso’s dad taking us where we needed to go. Friends of theirs also helped us out. From the first time we spoke with Soso, it felt like being welcomed into a Georgian family home, while still having our own apartment. The hospitality made our first stay in Georgia amazing. If you’re unsure about traveling, start here. You won’t be welcomed like this everywhere.

Soso was the best host we could have asked for. He met us at the airport, showed us around briefly, suggested places to visit, and even brought us local fruit. He was always ready to help without getting in our way. He’s a kind, sincere person who really reflects the Georgian hospitality we’d hoped to find. The apartment itself was spacious and in a quiet area, about a 7-minute taxi ride from the city center. One especially kind gesture was letting us stay until evening when our parents’ flight was rescheduled, even though we were meant to check out early. We had an amazing stay and couldn’t be happier, 10 out of 10!
