The metro station is clean and pretty comparable to other stations. I bought a monthly pass for all forms of transport here twice, and both times the women helping were nice, spoke English very fluently, and got it sorted quickly. There are quite a few places to get food nearby, including snack shops, small grocery stores, a cafe, a restaurant beside the metro, and a Dunkin Donuts inside. They also sell ‘shotis puri’ just outside one of the side entrances.
The station smells bad, and the escalators take a long time. The interior is dull.
We took the metro from 300 argaveli metro station to Liberty Square. The card costs 2 gel one time, and a one-way trip is 1 lari per passenger. The trains are fast.
A card costs 2 Lari, and a day pass is 3 Lari, so for 5 Lari you can travel around the whole city all day by bus and metro. The metro is much faster than the buses, so use it whenever you can.
This metro station is near SEU university. There’s a Bank of Georgia ATM, a payment machine, and a Dunkin donuts.
