I haven't stayed in a room, but I love the cafe. It's the best around here, I think. Great for business meetings, Zoom calls, or working from a cafe. The atmosphere is nice, the music helps me concentrate, and the food, drinks, and service are amazing.

Some of the staff were nice, though others weren't. What bothered me most was the bathroom. The shower glass is too narrow and the seal seems to have gaps, so even a quick shower leaves water all over the floor. The shower head is mounted around waist height, meaning I had to hold it and water splashed everywhere. There's an overhead shower, but most people don't want to wash and dry their hair twice a day. The wall-mounted hair dryer is very weak, and one brought from abroad might not work. Several things, including hair conditioner, weren't in the room and had to be requested. As a woman with hair, I found these bathrooms truly spoiled my stay. Every time I used it, I wondered who designed and approved this nightmare. The safety and privacy lock in my room also didn't work. It didn't feel dangerous exactly, but I would have liked it to work. The stay was okay otherwise, but these issues got in the way.

I couldn't get a good night's sleep during my two-week stay. Traffic roars outside day and night, and I could hear it throughout the room on the ninth floor. Guests and staff also kept slamming doors and stomping around at all hours. If noise bothers you, this isn't a good place to stay, though if you can put up with it, I do recommend the hotel. The hotel itself is lovely, clean, well looked after, and a more upscale Holiday Inn. Staff were kind, helpful, and professional, and housekeeping was exceptional. The beds are comfortable, the showers hot, and free bottled water each day was a big plus. Food was good, though very Western. Room service was fast, but my phone was broken for my whole stay, so I had to order downstairs. The location works well for the university or business and it's at a metro stop, but it's not ideal for exploring Old Town.

A couple of things to keep in mind: the hotel is on a busy avenue, so light sleepers may want a higher floor. It also draws business travelers, and the lobby can get lively during conferences. I found the location convenient, close to the metro and with easy access to key sights and the city center. The staff were welcoming and professional, check-in was smooth, and the rooms were spacious, clean, and well equipped. From the upper floors, the city views are great. The outdoor pool and fitness center were well maintained, and the breakfast buffet had plenty of variety. I'd happily book Holiday Inn Tbilisi again.
