Tbilisi Chambers Trademark Collection by Wyndham Hotel

The room was small, and despite the very high ceiling, I could hardly get more light in because the curtains were almost impossible to move. One of the tiny lights above the curtain couldn't be switched off, either. I reported it to reception, but got no help. The sound insulation was poor, so I could hear the neighbors and, worse, noise from the corridor. Breakfast was average and became boring after a few days because the food was the same each day. The WiFi didn't work in my room, and I had to stand next to the door to connect. I asked several times for it to be fixed, but nothing changed during my two-week stay. Fine for a few days, but I couldn't accept it for a longer stay.

Breakfast was a big letdown. It's advertised from 7 to 11 AM, but when I came down at 10 and asked for eggs, I was told they were gone and they wouldn't make more. That didn't feel acceptable when breakfast was included in what I paid. The Booking.com photos made the standard room look spacious, but it was actually so narrow there was barely room to walk, and the bathroom was very small and uncomfortable. I had to upgrade because of the conditions, but even the upgraded room wasn't worth the price. For the same money, I could have booked somewhere much better with far superior service. A very disappointing experience, and I don't recommend this hotel.

We didn't choose this hotel ourselves, it came through our tour package. It's in the city, less than 1 km from the railway station, which was handy for shopping and other restaurants, and it was easy to get a cab. The compact rooms really disappointed me. It seems set up for business stays of a few hours, not for families. Service wasn't great: they said they'd check the bathroom basin because the water was stuck, but nothing was done. Cleanliness was just okay, neither very good nor bad. There aren't many amenities for families or kids. There is a small guest or discussion room by the ground-floor entrance, a lift and stairs, a kitchen, and the hotel is open at night. Breakfast was a buffet, mostly Western food with very few choices. They should include some Georgian dishes and food for kids. For me, the hotel was neither very good nor very bad. There are much better places to stay in the city for a similar price or less. Our triple room with a balcony was just too small.
