Tbilisi View Hotel

The rooms and the view were perfect, and breakfast was awesome. I visited Georgia last week and chose Tbilisi view hotel for 4 nights. Honestly, the hotel was perfect, especially the staff. They were so kind, helpful, and friendly, and gave extraordinary service. Compared with other Georgian people, this staff was amazing. I recommend the hotel, 10/10.

The repeated breakfast was the one drawback for us. There was very little variety, so most of the time we didn’t eat anything. Otherwise, it’s an excellent hotel for staying and enjoying the view of Tbilisi. The rooms were clean, with excellent views, and room service was good. The staff were very caring. Since the hotel is up on a hill, you’ll need an Uber or a 15-20 minute uphill walk.

Cleanliness was the main problem. The bed and mattress were very dirty, and I felt so uncomfortable that I couldn’t rest properly. When I raised my concerns, the service was poor and unhelpful. The location wasn’t convenient either, and there was no view at all, despite what was advertised. A very negative stay, and I wouldn’t recommend this hotel.

We stayed here twice, first for 6 days and then for another 4 days at the end of our trip. The accessible location and the view were the main reasons we came back. The nightly rates are reasonable, especially with breakfast included. Metro and minibus stops are very close. The daily breakfast was good, with lots of options, though it was the same each day. Rooms were cleaned daily, and towels, slippers, and dental kits were refreshed each day. The bathroom was larger than a typical hotel bathroom. The room layout could be better. There was no outlet near the kettle, so we had to move it to use it. Tea and coffee weren’t provided in the room, but they were available 24/7 in the basement pantry. There was a cabinet for the fridge, but the fridge was outside it, possibly because there wasn’t a nearby outlet. As with other hotels we stayed at in Georgia, the main service challenge was the language. Once staff understood what you needed, they were quick to help. They also let my partner leave his bike during our first stay. There was no gym or pool, as advertised, which was fine. Good value for money, I’d recommend it. 5/5.
