Triple Eight Hotel

There was nobody at reception when we arrived at the Triple Eight Hotel. We called the property number listed on booking.com, and a man said the hotel was full and wouldn't take us, even though we already had a reservation. The hotel had sent a message confirming the booking when we made it. This was stressful and frustrating after we'd been traveling for many hours. We had to book another nearby hotel, which luckily had space. I wouldn't recommend booking here. The situation seemed very shady.

I booked 10 days through booking, but when I arrived, they said I had to pay for all 10 days or leave without staying. After paying, an emergency forced me to cancel, but they refused to return anything. The booking terms said the cancellation fee was just the first night's cost, so I asked for the amount for the remaining 9 nights. They still said no. I contacted the administrator Temo and the boss, but neither answered my calls or texts. They also wouldn't give me a bill showing I had paid more than 1000 GEL. I'm really upset and would not recommend this hotel to anyone. I have WhatsApp proof of their messages and hope for better service. I really want my money back.

For one night before an early flight, it worked perfectly. Check-in was quick, the room was clean, service was great, and I slept really well. The location was perfect.

The owner was responsive, friendly, and helpful, and they upgraded us to a larger room for free. Our room was clean and spacious. There are plenty of tourist spots and markets nearby to explore on foot or by public transport. They also offer free coffee and chai in the morning, and have card games in the reception area. The price I paid was very reasonable for the service. This was one of the best hotels I stayed at on my trip to Tbilisi, and I highly recommend it.
