For two days on a small island, I booked the cheapest hotel. At check-in, the owner asked for extra money, then changed her mind. After that, things seemed fine: running water, dishes and cutlery, and quiet neighbors. I paid 3,100 rubles for the two nights.

The owner is always around if you need anything. My private room was very clean and spacious, with a kitchenette, a lovely modern shower, and good WiFi. Just know that it's in an inner courtyard where children play from early in the morning, around 8-9 a.m., so sleeping late can be hard ;)
