The front desk staff were helpful, and the view was good, but the stay had a lot of problems. The walls are paper thin, so I could clearly hear the neighbors talking. There was a horrible sewer smell in the bathroom, and no shampoo or body wash, so I had to use hand wash. The AC was completely dead, and the TV remote didn't work, which meant I couldn't turn on the tiny TV. The beds were old and saggy, the rest of the room's furniture felt old and worn, and the floor was dusty. There's also a confusing name overlap with the nearby 5-star hotel called Zuzumbo. This hotel used to be called Zuzumbo too, and most of the positive Google reviews for this 3-star property seem to have been meant for the 5-star one. Even Google's first photo shows the other hotel.

The apartment was clean and comfortable, and the interior felt cozy. The owner was kind, and breakfast was delicious. Service was a 10/10. It’s a peaceful place, and there’s a good free parking lot too.

The rooms were clean and the place was perfectly adequate, just nothing special. Food was okay, though breakfast choices were limited. Beer options were limited too, only Heineken, oh dear. The wine was good, but that was with dinner, not breakfast.

There’s a bar and outdoor seating in the courtyard, and some rooms have balconies. The rooms were comfortable and the food was very good. They have their own bread oven, and we got to take part in a bread-making demonstration. There’s no lift.

From the top floor there’s a fantastic view over the valley and mountains. The hotel is cozy and nice, with good service and good food. The facilities feel a bit cheap, but they’re suitable, and the staff are kind.
