Dinner and breakfast were amazing, with so much Georgian food that we reached our limit. The girls welcomed us very warmly, and everything was clean. We had a four-bed room with a shared bathroom for one night. It’s a comfortable place to stay, though keep in mind it isn’t a hotel. I’d definitely recommend it as a base for exploring the area.

The breakfast was great, and dinner was nice, but it cost 50 lari per person. We hadn’t asked the price beforehand, and it was the most expensive meal of our trip. Even for Ushguli, we felt we’d been overcharged. Ask what it costs first so you can decide if it works for you. The family was nice and friendly. Getting there means driving through narrow streets, and Google Maps couldn’t navigate them. The rooms were basic but okay, though there was a bit of a smoke smell.
