The staff are friendly and the reception is top-notch. I do feel the prices are a bit high, since competitors charge about the same while including breakfast.

The prices are fair, and the hotel's probably the most central one in Kumasi. The rooms are clean, but they're not especially spacious or modern. Unless you book one of the more expensive rooms, you may get one without windows, or at least without direct sunlight, which makes the rooms feel gloomy. For a short stay when you'll spend most of the day out, it's probably fine.

The location is good and the average rooms are about what you'd expect for the price. The restaurant, though, was awful. More than half the menu wasn't available, and the Chinese dishes were basically spaghetti with meat. Breakfast was just a plain omelet with toast and butter, and both the toast and butter had mold on them.

The breakfast was the one thing I enjoyed. I also tried to buy water, but the waiter couldn't sell it because she had no change for my GHC.20 note. The rest of the stay was a letdown. The ACs didn't work, and the fans weren't good enough. The TV was completely broken, taps leaked in the bathrooms, and the rooms and corridors felt stuffy and needed air freshening. We had to ask for clean beddings, and toiletries weren't provided until we reminded them, even though we'd reserved a day earlier. The curtains and plumbing also need maintenance. Other reviews mention friendly staff, but that wasn't my experience. The front desk was nearly always empty, there seemed to be different people at reception each time, and most couldn't answer the enquiries I'd made.
