The room wasn’t clean: the fan and mattress were dusty, and there was no cover sheet. At the front desk, Israel was unpleasant, unprofessional, impolite, untidy, grumpy, and extremely rude. He was a disastrous hire and doesn’t seem suited to that job. He needs more training, or he’s in the wrong industry trying to stay afloat. The night shift guy was much more courteous, friendly, and engaging. I’d planned to stay four days, but left the day after my first night. I went to another hotel, where the service was night and day better. The fan and bed were clean, and the customer service was brilliant. I’m not paying for rude, impolite service.

The receptionist gave great service, she was exceptional. The male staff were professional and helpful too. The female staff overall could really use some customer service training. Keep it up!

The restaurant is painfully slow. Breakfast took over an hour, and when I asked to take it away, they packed it really poorly. That needs to improve. The place is quiet, though, and the beds are so comfy, easily the highlight for me. The rooms are smaller than I’d expect for two people, but they’re okay. The heater kept working for me, unlike at other places.

There were roaches in my room, and the gentleman at reception wasn’t friendly. Still, Ernest the driver, Soraya, and the male waiter who served us last night were great. Thumbs up to those three.
