Kulukis Downtown Hostel

The location made it easy to walk anywhere, and there was plenty of shared space. It’s more like a guest house than a regular hostel, with clean, comfortable rooms and beds. Check-in and check-out instructions were simple and clear. I couldn’t reach management by email, but they replied right away when I texted on WhatsApp. They were also very kind to let us leave our luggage in the common area after check-out since our flight was late. Thanks for a great stay!

The self-service setup made everything easy, from check-in through check-out, and they even let me leave my luggage in the shared living room until my flight. They also replied quickly on WhatsApp, which I appreciated. The hostel is right in central Nuuk, with shops an easy walk away and bus No.3 to the airport stopping just two minutes away. I only booked one night and wished I could have stayed longer. My single room was tidy and clean, as were the shared bathroom and living room. There are two washing machines and everything needed for cooking. The balcony looked lovely too, though it rained while I was there, so I couldn't have breakfast outside. I've stayed in a few places in Greenland, and this was easily my favorite.

The family room was great, and the place itself is lovely. We ended up booking after our flight was cancelled at the last minute and our plans were in disarray because the airline hadn't communicated well. The owners stayed in touch and did everything they could to keep us comfortable while we waited to find out what would happen with our flight. I can't recommend them enough.

Kulukis is in a handy spot for getting around, and the price felt like a real bargain for the cleanliness, comfort, and service. The staff were welcoming and made the place feel like home. Facilities were kept in good shape, and the whole atmosphere is cozy rather than hostel-like. One thing to know is that room sizes vary a lot: some are very small, while others are spacious. A great budget stay if you're after somewhere warm and comfortable.
