We've spent a good few years coming to these bungalows, and it's been lovely watching my children and grandchildren enjoy their holidays here too. The owners are so warm and helpful, and the spacious accommodation is spotlessly clean. There's a lovely restaurant and bar run by the owners just to the side, and the food is great. The setting is fantastic, with beautiful sunsets. Whether you're here with family or friends, it's a place to slow down, relax and enjoy yourself. You won't regret it.

We've just come back from two weeks at Beachside Bungalows, where we've been staying since 2004. It’s very family friendly, and you start to relax as soon as you arrive. The beach is only a few steps away, or you can sit on the patio, listen to the waves and watch the sunsets. Vangeli and Irene live on site and run the Beachside Bar and Restaurant. When we had health problems a few years ago, Sue and Carol were only a call or text away. There's wifi if you want to stay connected, but we were happy with no TV or newspapers. We'd give the place five stars plus if we could.

I came from London, England, where the weather was far from sunny and hot, so I was looking forward to some heat. I just wasn't prepared for 40 degrees, and personally found it too hot. News reports were calling it a record breaking heatwave. Some people were coping fine and enjoying it on their sunbeds, though.

My brother and I found the bungalows right on the beachfront in Acharavi, and the accommodation was wonderful, with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. If anything comes up, Travel With Friends (Sue and Carol) are there with great support. The beach and Taverner's are right next door. I'd definitely recommend them.
