Hotel Adamas

Missing our ferry stop for Folegandros by accident brought us to Milos instead, and it turned into a happy mistake thanks to the kind people at the Adams’s and the bar next door. We found a room for one night at a reasonable price. The service was kind and attentive, breakfast was tasty, and the cocktails with that lovely view were very welcome. The rooms are simple and clean, and you can walk straight downstairs to catch the ferry. If you’re traveling between Greek islands, I recommend backpacks over wheeled bags. I’d highly recommend staying here for the view, location, and friendly staff.

Our room had a good view, and breakfast was okay, but there was no choice and no fruit. We were surprised to find the restaurant, bar, and rooftop terrace all closed, since this wasn’t made clear in the hotel listing. We’d been looking forward to a rooftop drink. The mattress was extremely hard, the shower was in disrepair, there was a hole in the door frame, and the basin plug and bathroom extractor fan didn’t work. Staff were unhelpful, and we were charged extra for changing towels and sheets. After two nights, unfortunately, I wouldn’t stay again.

The view over the sea was amazing, and the owners were kind and very helpful, going out of their way to make us comfortable. They also had great suggestions for places to see and restaurants. Since we arrived and departed by ferry, the location couldn’t have been more convenient. We had a wonderful night at this family-run hotel. The room was comfortable, though the mattress was quite hard. If you’re visiting Milos, especially by ferry, Hotel Adamas is a great place to stay.

It’s handy to have parking in front if you’re renting a car, but I had a lot of trouble navigating the hotel’s narrow, one-way roads to reach the main porch. The staff were helpful, and I’d recommend the hotel. The location is right above Milos port, which saves time if you’re taking ferries. The room was clean, tidy, and spacious, with a simple but adequate setup. The air conditioning was especially strong, which was welcome when it got hot.
