Odysseas Studios with Private Pool

We stayed in Room 206, close to the amusement park behind the aparthotel, and the noise was awful. On our first day I spotted a wasp nest in the AC and told the people looking after the place. They sprayed it, and I covered the unit with paper, but insects still came into our room now and then. It was horrifying. The studio is old and very basic. The TV had a few Greek channels, the bathroom was basic, and a few times the water from the tap was yellow. I’ve never seen that on any of my trips to Greece. The kitchen sink was covered with some inox material, making the tap hard to use. The terrace was a shame too, about 2 m2, barely enough room for two chairs and a little table. The pool is supervised by a man named Todor. We weren’t allowed to move the sunbeds or chairs to follow the sun, and there was so much chlorine. That explains why the pool is always empty. After a few nights, drunk people made noise all night and nobody reacted until morning. People come on holiday to relax, and it’s a shame when owners hire staff to run places they don’t live in themselves. I love Greece and Greek people, and spend 25 days there each year. I always visit Zakynthos, usually staying in aparthotels or 3-star hotels to enjoy the sea, sun, air, and delicious food. I chose Odiseass because I wanted to join my sister at Epsilon studios next door, and made the decision in five minutes. I’ve seen everything in Greece, but I know I can find something much better for this money.
