Fevro Hotel

Agia Galini is easy to get around on foot, and the hotel makes a good starting point for exploring Crete by rental car. It's a small, family-run place, very clean, with a great breakfast. The staff were extremely friendly and really helpful with arranging trips around the island.

Really good stay. The only small drawback is there's no pool, though the sea is just a 15-20 minute walk from the hotel. We couldn't find the village ATM on Google Maps either. If you can't find something, ask the staff. I'm sure they'll help.

Really nice hotel, and the breakfast was lovely. The room was okay. I would have liked a better view, but I had a really cool stay there.

Greek hospitality kept making an impression on us, and we had a truly lovely holiday. Our room was downstairs, with a fantastic terrace, and the varied, delicious breakfast was served on the breakfast terrace. The hotel sits higher up the hill, with a large car park below where we always found a space. Agia Galini is beautiful for a stroll, with lots of tavernas and small supermarkets that somehow never seem to close. The beach is about a 15-minute walk away, so bring swim shoes. By car, there are plenty of lovely beaches, including Triopetra. We also enjoyed trips to Matala, Imbros Gorge, Rethymnon, Chania, Lake Zaros, and the botanical garden in Spili. The hotel is small and surrounded by beautiful bougainvillea. The welcome is always warm, especially from the lovely Anna at reception, who speaks good German. Rooms are clean and simply equipped, with a small fridge and TV. We never switched the TV on during our 14-day stay. We were glad we'd brought a kettle. Air conditioning cost €7 a day, and the rooms were cleaned daily except Sundays.
