We’d happily return. The host replied quickly and gave us great advice, and the villa was even larger and prettier than it looked in the photos. Its terraces each worked well at different times of day, and the neighborhood was very quiet. Shops, taverns, and beaches were all within a five-minute walk, with ports nearby for ferries to other areas. Chania’s old center was about a 20-minute drive. For us, it felt like the ideal place to stay in Chania.

Makis was such a friendly, helpful host, and we really enjoyed the places he recommended. Villa Familia worked very well for our family or a group of friends, with a garden, sea view, and nice facilities. It’s also close to Chania and the beach. We had a wonderful stay!

The hosts were so welcoming and did everything they could to make our stay memorable. The villa has lovely gardens and plenty of comfortable space, with incredible views of both the sea and the mountains. It’s right by the sea, too.

Even now, in the middle of winter at home, I close my eyes and picture myself in that lovely living room, looking out through the wonderful window at the sea. Those days at Vila Familia were just wonderful, hard to put into words. The owners were so welcoming, always smiling and ready to help with whatever we needed for a great holiday. It’s the kind of villa you fall for the moment you see it, and a lovely place to spend time with family or friends. See you soon, Vila Familia! 🌹🌹🌹
