Symphony Residence

You’ll need a rental car to reach the best places. From outside, you can hear planes passing below, but they aren’t audible inside the apartment. The host was very nice, and the rooms were spotless. Room service came twice a day, and the fresh breakfast each morning was amazing. The pool is heated, though it was also nice for cooling off around midday.

Georgia and Despoina were a great team, always replying quickly and helping us arrange a rental car at the last minute. It was delivered right to the property. The place is about 15 minutes from busy Fira and Santorini, so a car is essential, but the price felt like a steal for such a spacious, beautiful, clean place. We’d happily stay again when we return. The house was spotless and modern, with everything we needed in the kitchen, including an oven, stovetop, fridge, and utensils. It had two bedrooms and two bathrooms, comfortable beds and pillows, good sized showers, toiletries, and a washing machine, which was a big plus. Bathrooms have few shelves, but we used the closet outside ours. The bedrooms are downstairs, so keep the steps in mind when carrying luggage. Housekeeping came daily to clean and change towels. Breakfast was brought in a brown bag at 0800 each day, with juice and milk. They also left bottled water daily and gave us complimentary wine. There’s a large outdoor jacuzzi with a great mountain view. The house is right outside an army military base, and although it’s close to the airport, we didn’t hear any planes. The pool was a highlight, private and available around the clock, with a steady temperature. We also had a varied, generous breakfast each morning and a very well equipped kitchen. The beds and tablecloths were top notch. The villa itself is enchanting, modern but still warm, and fully equipped. There’s privacy and plenty of room to relax. We were welcomed so warmly and professionally, with friendly attention, useful advice, and patient help whenever we needed it. The location is central, about 20 minutes from everything and five minutes from the airport. The place and the people working there made our vacation unforgettable. We hope to visit again.
