I wish we’d booked more than a week. The comfortable villa is in a quiet part of the Cretan countryside, close to some of the most beautiful beaches, and it would be great for remote work too. The hosts were amazing and made sure we had everything we needed for our stay. Perfect for a family holiday.

We stayed in this vila for 9 days, and the host welcomed us with a freshly baked cake and farm eggs. Such a warm start. The location worked well, with lovely beaches nearby and a good restaurant just around the corner. We especially liked the big living room, the nice terrace, and the yard. Each bedroom has its own terrace and AC, so there’s plenty of privacy. My only issue was the mattresses, which felt a little too hard for me. Apart from that, everything was really nice.

Our stay at Villa Smaragdi was such a good time. The host gave us a really warm welcome, with homemade cake and eggs waiting in the fridge. From the terrace, the view was amazing. The villa sits among olive fields and has a great garden. If you enjoy the countryside, it’s a lovely place to be, with farm animals audible in the morning and a sense of freedom from the wide horizon around the villa. We’ll definitely come back.

The balconies all have a perfect view, and the house is comfortable. It’s a beautiful villa that really makes you feel like you’re in paradise.
