We especially loved the beach nearby: soft sand and shallow water made it a great spot for our young kids to play, and we could relax knowing it was a suitable place for them to swim. The apartment was new and beautifully furnished, and Angela made us feel cared for from the moment we arrived. She was always available, made sure we had what we needed, and shared useful local advice. The only drawback is that getting around requires a car, since there isn't a supermarket within easy walking distance. For us, that was a small trade-off for the quiet setting and easy beach access. We had a fantastic family stay in Corfu and would happily recommend it.

The beach just steps from the apartment ended up being our favorite, even after visiting several others around the island. We snorkeled there and spotted crabs, a flounder, and some big fish farther out. There are mosquito nets on every window, though the sea breeze meant we barely noticed any mosquitoes. Keep in mind that grocery stores are in nearby villages and most are closed on Sundays, so plan ahead if you want to cook. Alisachni Apartments felt like the most beautiful, soulful place we’ve ever stayed. I usually want to discover somewhere new, but I was already longing to return as soon as we left, which had never happened to me before. Angela and her husband made a lot of that feeling. She’s warm, open, and thoughtful, and checked in herself to make sure things were going well. She treats guests like visitors in her own home, and you can feel the care. Before we arrived, Angela sent a clear welcome letter with directions, the address, check-in details, and Wi-Fi information, so getting there was easy. After our trip, a lovely basket of local wine and snacks and some cold water were waiting for us. The apartment was just as it looked in the photos, well equipped, cozy, and full of decorative touches Angela had chosen herself. Everything felt considered, and the place had a warm, home-like atmosphere. We’re already hoping to come back for at least two weeks next time and have a barbecue with the BEST HOSTS ever. We returned for a second year and stayed in the maisonette at Alisachni Apartments. Angela and her brother welcomed us warmly again and made us feel at home. The apartment was cozy, clean, and nicely furnished, with a large terrace looking out over the sea. Absolutely recommended.
