Glykeria Mini Suites

The food was a real highlight, from the fresh breakfasts with local touches to the dinners I had at the property, every dish was delicious and felt lovingly made. My room was spotless, beautifully decorated, comfortable, and had stunning Aegean Sea views. Waking up to that peaceful landscape was unforgettable. The staff made me feel like family from the minute I arrived, always warm and helpful. Glykeria Mini Suites is in a quiet spot that’s still close enough to explore the island. I could relax at the nearby beach, visit Oia, or watch sunset from the balcony. I stayed a full week and truly didn’t want to leave. One of the best holidays of my life, and I’ll absolutely be back. The breakfast changed each day rather than being buffet style. On our first morning they asked about allergies and food preferences, and offered a welcome drink. We could also order food and drinks from the hotel bar and kitchen while at the beach. The hotel transfer to and from the airport was comfortable and worked really well. We stayed seven nights at Glykeria in July 2025. The room and the whole building were very clean, and our room was large. The hotel's own beach was about 30 seconds away, with clean sand and sea, comfortable sunbeds, good umbrellas, cabins, and a shower. Though the hotel sits on the southern end of Perivolos-Agios Georgios's seaside road, near several restaurants, bars, and beach clubs, it was surprisingly quiet. Many thanks to Eleftherios, Kyriaki, and Ms. Daiana. They were all kind, attentive, helpful, and competent, and gave us good tips about restaurants, outdoor activities, and getting around the island.

The beach was the standout for me. It was beautiful and picturesque, peaceful and comfortable, and hotel guests could use the beds in the last row for free. I preferred the black volcanic “sand” to ordinary white sand because it doesn’t cling to you or blow around. Our spacious, spotless room had a large veranda, cozy modern furnishings in a rustic Santorinian style, and a good Nespresso machine with capsules and drinking water. The owners were welcoming and friendly. An absolutely amazing place.

The black beach right in front of Glykeria Mini Suites was the prettiest of the many Santorini beaches I’ve visited. The suites sit right by the water in a peaceful setting, and the gazebos and daybeds are very comfortable. Welcoming staff and helpful recommendations made the stay even better.
