Oliaros Seaside Lodge

We’re still thinking about Oliaros. It was the best place we stayed on our trip around the Cyclades. The rooms were spotless, with stunning views of the sea and sky. From the rooftop we watched the sunset and moon, which looked so close. It’s a three-minute walk to the beach, and about three minutes by car to cafes like despotiko cafe, which was 10/10, and some lovely restaurants. The location also makes it easy to get to other parts of the island. The place keeps its traditional housing style, simple but cozy and welcoming, and we like that they want to keep it that way 💙 Vassilis was so warm and treated us like family. We also got to meet his wife, who was lovely and pleasant, and the housekeeper, who was really nice too. If you like calm and slow holidays, this is the place. Our double room with a sea view was just right for a week. Stavrina was so attentive and kind, with thoughtful little touches that made us feel at home and cared for. We loved our stay from beginning to end. Thank you for everything 💙

A quiet, unpretentious place to enjoy the island, with clean, comfortable rooms, nice communal areas, and a good breakfast. There are some modern touches, but it still feels simple. The beach is only a two-minute walk away, so it’s a great base if you want to stay close to the sea.

We stayed five lovely days at Oliaros Seaside Lodge. The breakfasts were simple and delicious, and there’s a quiet, very nice sandy beach just a short walk away. It’s run by a friendly couple who are both musicians, spending winters in Athens and summers running Oliaros.
