The lower rooms looked bad, and the pictures didn't show what they were like. During the week we stayed, nobody changed the towels or sheets, they just hung them up to dry. No one spoke English, and there was nobody at the reception, so I had to call the number and check myself in. The shower curtain didn't keep the water in, and the drain barely worked, leaving a makeshift pool after a shower. The air conditioning barely worked either, and I didn't even try the kitchen appliances. We also had no water for two days because of a faulty water main, which may have affected all of Agios Gordios, so I can't blame the hotel for that, but it could happen. A bad experience all round.

For what I paid, the place was too basic, and it was very loud. Wild motorbikes and cars could be heard passing right outside the window. The sheets were clean and the receptionists were polite. If you don't have another accommodation option, I guess it does the job.

The rooms are spacious and cleaned every day, and the staff are friendly. There's also a large pool. I'd recommend this place. The main drawbacks are the internet, which doesn't work most of the time, and the TV, which is useless. It only has a few Arab channels, and the public Greek ERT channel, where the World Cup is broadcast, isn't available.

The location was excellent, about five minutes from the beach. The room and pool were very clean, and the staff were polite and helpful. A mosquito net would be useful. I liked it overall.
