The hotel looks out over the sea and has everything you need, with a really peaceful feel. It’s tucked away from the usual routes, and there’s no road right up to it, just a walkway, but that wasn’t a problem for us. The hosts were amazing and the location was just as good.

Therma’s lovely bay is just a few steps down, with tavernas, bars and a kiosk nearby, so there’s plenty around if you want to unwind. We loved our stay. The people were really nice and communication was great, and waking up to that incredible landscape was something special.

The views are beautiful, but it seems like the price is largely based on them. This is a guesthouse, not a hotel, and room No.5 was very small, basic and not renovated. There’s a shared kitchen, and the outdoor area is cosy and winding. Getting there was a surprise: there’s no official or marked footpath. The route crosses the grounds of two building ruins, then you have to climb several steep stairs.

A quiet spot for anyone who wants to switch off. The garden is lovely and the views are beautiful once you find the place, which can be a bit tricky. I only stayed one night, so I can’t really comment on the service, but it’s set up well for self-service. The kitchen has everything you need, the lounge feels cosy, and my small room was welcoming. It’s a place for independent travellers.
