Hotel George

Eleni at reception was really kind and nice. Our room, though, was tiny, with no balcony, and up on the third floor. There was a coffee machine, but after I ran water through it to clean it, the water came out discolored and put me off using it. At night a pretty disgusting smell came up from the bathroom floor drain, especially noticeable if you have a sensitive nose. Think about where you want to go on the island before choosing this part. If you’re not here for the hot springs and want to explore beaches like Armenistis and Messakti, this may not be the best location. Crossing the mountain to get between areas takes more than an hour on very winding mountain roads. The views from up high are unforgettable, though, if you enjoy that kind of scenery.
