We spent two weeks in the Daphne apartment as a family of four and really enjoyed it. The two terraces look out in opposite directions, so there’s shade available at any time of day. There’s air conditioning and even a washing machine, and the kids loved jumping into the pool after the beach. The hosts were so kind. Just a heads-up, there’s no direct route to Milos beach, so you have to take a path through town. Still, it was a lovely holiday.

It was easy to find parking, with spaces provided, and the complex is quiet, just outside Ag. Nikitas village. Being up the hill also keeps it fairly cool. With the island’s beaches and other places worth seeing roughly 30-40 km away at most, it’s a handy base for exploring Lefkada. The apartment was new and well maintained, in a small complex of just four apartments. The rooms are spacious enough for two, or even three, people each. The kitchen has all the amenities, and the bathroom is one of the largest I’ve seen. Christos and Evaggelia were polite, friendly and helpful, ready with answers and information while still giving us space.

The hosts are a lovely older couple, and the view is amazing. You can see the Lefkada mountains, the sea and the lights of Agios Nikitos. Milos beach is right below the apartments, but you have to walk around to get there. Agios Nikitos beach is about 15 minutes away on foot, while Milos Beach takes 30-35 minutes. Other beaches are nearby too, though you’ll need a car for those.

Up above Agios Nikitas, you get stunning views of the Ionian on one side and the bay on the other. The house has a real “million dollar view,” plus a pool and four apartments. Each has a kitchen with appliances and one or two terraces. The hosts are friendly.

We loved the apartment, the flower-filled garden and the view over Agios Nikitas. Everything about the place is beautiful.
