The room was small but perfectly fine for two nights, with a comfortable bed, a lovely balcony overlooking the harbor, and a two-card entry system that worked well. It was clean too. The shower was the weak point: the head was broken so it couldn’t be hung up, and the water pressure was poor. Getting checked in felt impersonal. There was no staff member there when we arrived, so we had to call a number to find out what to do. Our key cards had been left on the counter. We didn’t see any staff during the entire stay. A paper in the room listed low-season prices, but when we called to extend our stay, the rate we were quoted was higher. Between that and the lack of personal interaction, we moved to another hotel for the rest of our time in the city. Maybe it’s better in high season, but our stay felt practical rather than welcoming.

The owners and staff were some of the nicest people I’ve met while travelling. If you need something and it’s doable, they’ll do it or at least try. The rooms were nice and clean, and the food was amazing. We never had a problem with it. It’s close to just about everything: the beach is 2 minutes away and the city centre about 10 minutes. I’d absolutely recommend it for experiencing Crete, and this side of Crete in particular. My family and I had one of our best travel experiences here. Thanks for such a great stay.

The room had all the amenities, and I kept extending my stay because it felt like home. It was great value for money, and I’d love to visit again. The hosts were such sweethearts, and the breakfast was delicious. A lovely hotel with a great view of the beach. :)

A one-night stopover with amazing harbor views. The place was clean and practical, and the staff were very helpful. Great price, € 85 for two people with breakfast. Recommend.

The apartment felt brand new, with two bedrooms and room to live comfortably. We had a sea-view room, 50 meters from a sandy beach and a 5-minute walk from the lake and city center of Agios Nikolaos. The owners were amazing, polite, and pleasant, and can bring you whatever you wish for breakfast. Definitely coming back.
