Akrotiri Cove

Breakfast on the huge terrace, looking out at the endless blue of the Aegean sea, was my favorite part of the day. My friend and I spent a weekend at Akrotiri Cove in June, and the peaceful, secluded setting gave us privacy and a chance to unwind far from the crowds. The villa was spacious and very clean, with lovely cycladic decor and everything we needed. Each evening we enjoyed the sunset from the jacuzzi, with spectacular views of the Caldera all to ourselves. I’d definitely recommend it for a relaxing getaway.

There’s WiFi and parking, and the sun beds are comfortable and look nice. It was a little windy at the end of September, though the temperature was around 27°C. The villa is a gem near Akrotiri city, with a few grocery shops and the main road close by. You’ll need a car to get to other places such as black beach, though there’s a small caldera beach near the villa. Breakfast was amazing, and a special thanks to the host. The bath worked well, and you can adjust the temperature if it’s too hot or cold.

We had such a great two-night stay at Akrotiri Cove in June. The villa feels tucked away and peaceful, with everything you need and a large balcony with sunbeds right above the Caldera. The views are breathtaking and all yours. We could cook because the villa was so well equipped, though dinner and drinks are only a few steps away in Akrotiri center. Inside, the Cycladic decor is beautiful, the bed is large and comfortable, and there’s a huge couch. The jacuzzi stayed at a perfect temperature, even for relaxing at night. The hosts were so kind and warm, always checking that we had what we needed. Totally recommend it.

Maroulia made sure we had everything we needed and was so thoughtful. She shared useful places to go and tips, and we can’t wait to return to Akrotiri and see her again. The villa was extraordinary, both for its location and the view. It’s quite isolated and peaceful, and waking up there each morning felt like a dream. We loved the large terrace, with several cute places to sit, and the hot tub was just right for sunny weather or warming up on a chilly evening. The villa was well furnished, with a really comfortable bed and everything we needed. There was plenty of food in the fridge and cupboards, fresh fruit, and even a bottle of Greek wine as a welcome gift.
