Akrotiri is much quieter than Oia and Fira, and it's a good alternative to spending more on a hotel. There are restaurants and art shops nearby too. The room was clean and had a fridge, kettle, and Wi-Fi. The receptionist was kind and explained what we could do around the island.

For a 2-star hotel in Greece, it had a lovely extra: guests can try the wonderful grapes and really tasty figs. The owner is Serbian, and so is the receptionist.
