I spent 15 days at Pirgari Rooms and had a wonderful time. Demetra was the perfect hostess, and Manolis was always there to help. The studio was spacious and clean. The room was made up every day, and the sheets and towels were changed every three days. Manolis's mother also made amazing Fava and Moussaka! I highly recommend staying here on Sikinos. Theodora 'Dora' Kavellary recommended the place to me, and I’m very grateful for her help. 🏝️💙🇬🇷🧿🫶🏻
The apartments are great, but finding them was a nightmare. Google doesn’t know where they are, and there are no signs.
The view was good, and the room is close to the beach. The host kindly met me at the port and took me to the room. However, the room and bathroom really need renovating, and the price felt high for the quality.
These are basic rooms that feel like they’re from the 70s or 80s. The tap and toilet kept running, and the fridge had a problem. The beach is around a 10-minute walk. You can’t drive your car up there: there’s nowhere to leave it, and the climb is steep, so it’s better to park at Alopronia. The room is just for sleeping, not somewhere to spend time. It feels claustrophobic.
The location, price, and service are a great combination. The room was clean and had a new fridge for keeping snacks and water cool. Service was excellent. It’s a lovely spot for coffee by the beach in the morning and a quiet evening.
