We stayed through booking.com from 21 July 2021 to 30 July 2021, arriving with high hopes after seeing the photos. I regret not reading all the reviews first. This is a private villa in the middle of Fetiya, about 2km from the main road to the Old Port. There's no public transport to it, so you need your own transport. The booking site description said free airport transfer was included in the price, but when we asked, the owner said that was a mistake and there were no free transfers. We had told the owner our estimated arrival time, but nobody was there with the key when we got to the villa. We called a Swiss number several times, and the owner eventually answered after about an hour. The Greek number belongs to the cleaning lady, who doesn't speak English. Although we booked for two people, we got just one key, so we had to plan every move to the last second or stay together to avoid leaving one of us waiting. We needed to check work emails now and then, but there was no Wi-Fi information in the room and we couldn't connect. The safe didn't work either. We politely messaged the owner about these problems and got no reply. We then found more issues: a dirty mattress, a bathroom door handle falling off, a faulty bathroom light, and so on. Our calls and messages still went unanswered. After three days and a call to our booking company, the owner called us. We hoped she would understand the problems and find solutions. Instead, she said we should have booked a hotel room rather than a room in her villa. She said she was in Switzerland and couldn't help, and told us to check out if we weren't happy, but that we wouldn't get a refund. She seemed to think we shouldn't complain because we'd booked a room in a villa, though we were only asking for the facilities we'd paid for in our reservation. Don't expect the same situation if you book this place. Take the owner's advice and book a room in a HOTEL.
