The pool area was lovely, with beautiful views and sunrise. We spent a week here and really enjoyed it. The staff were friendly and helpful, and our apartment was cleaned daily and had everything we needed. The bus to Oia stops right outside, while getting to the bus for Fira is a short but uphill walk.

There are so many good restaurants nearby, and it was easy to walk over to Imerovigli for sunset. Rampelia has a wonderful sea view and a very convenient location. Thanks for a great stay!

We had a spacious, comfortable two-bedroom apartment with daily cleaning, and owner Nektarios came by to greet us personally. The clear pool is gorgeous, and the views are amazing. Walking to Imerovigly took us about 15 minutes, though we’re slow, and that’s where you can see what we thought was the best sunset in all Santorini. The hotel gave us great tips on local cuisine. Avocado is a good choice if you want something a bit cheaper. We were lucky to get a seasonal discount after writing to ask, which made the stay incredible value. Wonderful time!

Rampelia is a good option for visiting Santorini without paying the crazy prices charged by hotels with caldera views. The place is run very professionally. At check-in, the guy gave us more information than we could take in, but over the next few days the staff answered our questions and gave excellent advice about activities. Our apartment and the shared areas were spotless, and the kitchen was fully equipped. WiFi worked, everything was in good order, and there’s free parking. I think most, perhaps all, apartments face the sea on the other side of the island, rather than toward the caldera. The infinity pool overlooks the sea and has umbrellas and beds beside it; it was usually empty. The bus stop is about 50 yards away, and Imerovigli is a 7-10 minute uphill walk. It’s a cute village that looks much like Fira or Oia, with similar views, white buildings, restaurants, shopping, and more.

You get a good amount of space for the price, plus a sunrise view each morning and a well-equipped apartment with cooking utensils. There’s a pool, terrace, and car park, and the local bus stop is only about 30m away. The main part of the village is around a 10-minute walk, though, so supermarkets and places to eat aren’t right nearby. Reception closes at 16:00 unless you arrange something in advance.
