The people in the village (Aptera) were so friendly and welcoming. The owners were wonderful too, always going out of their way to make sure we were comfortable. This rental is a real gem, with great views and fantastic amenities.

The sea views from the balconies and pool were lovely, and Villa Silvia looked just like the photos. Mr. Kostas and his wife were fantastic hosts. We had a great week, and on our last day they gave us delicious homemade moussaka and a gift from beautiful Crete.

We were there for the first two weeks of September, and Villa is in a very quiet area, perfect for a restful holiday. Kostas and his wife were wonderful hosts, and we really liked them. The service was top notch, and the villa was very clean and well kept. It was cleaned several times during the week, and there was a small welcome pack of food and drinks waiting for us. The view was a dream. Kostas also drove us to the Samaria Gorge, which would have been a very long trip by bus. There are a few restaurants within walking distance. All in all, we highly recommend the villa and felt very comfortable there.
