Kekatos Studios

We had a really relaxing time at this small hotel, and it was great value for money. The pool area stayed quiet, and we often had it to ourselves. Getting up the steep hill is a bit of a chore, though it wasn’t too bad.

The sea view from room 2 was breathtaking. We stayed for a week starting on June 27, and the top-floor room was better than I expected: comfortable bed, spotless, and cleaned daily. The bathroom was small, though I’m not sure what could be done to improve it. The kitchen looked a little dated, and new cupboard doors might help, but it had what we needed, including a kettle, toaster, two small bottles of water, and washing-up liquid. We ate out every night, so it was enough for us. We used the more spacious area beside our room, with a table and four chairs, rather than the small balcony with its little table and two chairs. The balcony also had an airer and plenty of pegs. Outside was kept tidy and clean, with plenty of sunbeds and outdoor seating around a fairly small pool that seemed a good size for 10 apartments. There’s a covered seating area that was perfect for reading in the shade. The WiFi router is there, and the connection was better than expected, reaching the pool and outside our room. The location on the outskirts of Lassi was lovely, with phenomenal views. Lassi has plenty of bars and restaurants, and we mostly shopped at the supermarket next to Zorbas. The hill up to Kekatos is steep. I managed it fine, though I can see some people finding it difficult. Air conditioning cost €10 per day, and the tax came to €10.50 for the week. One thing that needs attention is the notice board. Nobody was there when we arrived, and we weren’t sure what to do. Clear instructions about what to do or who to call on arrival would help. We got there early, sat in the shade, and waited for someone. I think check-in starts at 2pm. I’d happily recommend Kekatos studios.

The views and location were great, although the apartment sits up a short, steep hill. It was clean, but dated and very small. I really don’t like shower curtains 🤣, and my daughter was mortified that her bed was in the kitchen because we were three sharing one apartment. The cleaner was friendly and did a grand job, and all the outdoor areas were spotless. The pool was disappointing, though. It was warm and needed cleaning and filling.

The hotel sits on a hill, so the view is great, and it’s about 300 metres from the best beach in Lassi. Cleaning was good every day. It was okay overall, but air conditioning costs an extra €5 a day.
