Dilina Studios

The location is excellent, with a breakfast place, restaurants, and supermarkets all within a five-minute walk. The beach takes a bit longer, about 12 minutes on foot. Staff, service, and wifi were great. I also really liked having a kitchen in the room for a quick meal or coffee. It seemed like every room had a balcony with a sea view.

The owners are genuinely kind and did everything they could to make us comfortable. We felt at home and well cared for, with five-star treatment in a three-star hotel. The rooms are large, very clean, and quiet, with lovely balconies, plenty of kitchen furniture and accessories, and, in our case, comfy beds with nice cotton sheets. Finiki's best seafood restaurants are three minutes away by car, and the sunsets are amazing. Our AC stopped working, but Minas somehow found someone to fix it on Sunday, during the island's big celebration of the Virgin Mary. Two days later it broke again, so Minas offered another room. We'd already unpacked a lot, and since he said our "old" room wouldn't be used again, we asked if we could keep our room and use the room with working AC only for sleeping. He promptly said, "Sure, no problem." We ended up with two rooms and two balconies with different views. Minas also told us the hotel would have a full renovation that winter, so it would be even better the next year. Whenever we're back in Karpatos, we'll stay at Dilina for sure!

I'd recommend hotel Dilina to anyone after a quiet, traditional, and welcoming place to stay in a central location. The studios are huge, clean, and comfortable. I hope to visit again soon!

The staff were welcoming and helpful, and the prices were good. A very nice hotel with great rooms and a lovely view. I'd highly recommend it!
