Mealos Apartments

Mr. Stavros was welcoming and took care of the arrangements and information we needed. The location was peaceful, with a pleasant yard, and we had a perfect sea view. Strong winds meant we couldn't swim at the beach during our stay, but we still had a very nice time with our family this August. Mealos Apartment had plenty of space, including a separate double room. The rooms were cleaned every day, though they could use some renovation. For the price, the quality is very reasonable.

Our balcony had a lovely sea view, and the rooms were spacious, very clean, and had all the facilities we needed. Mealos studios and apartments made a beautiful place for our vacation, and we enjoyed our stay a lot. The hosts were very friendly and showed us great hospitality. I'd definitely recommend Mealos.

We stayed at Mealos last summer, in July 2019, in a double bedroom flat. The sandy beach was beautiful and right next door, with no road to cross, and we had a great sea view from the balcony (see photo). Its position also made it easy to get around. The owner sent us a really thorough list of things to do, how to get there, places to eat at each spot, and other advice. The ideas were delightful and much appreciated. Skyros was better than I remembered from my visit years earlier. There were lots of places to eat, drink, relax, and visit, and they were nice and relatively cheap. Cleaning seemed to be happening constantly, and help was readily available if we needed anything. Parking was available on the property. The daily boat trip is well worth doing. Swimming in the caves was priceless. The boat food wasn't superb, but it was good value for money, and they offered several extra treats during the trip, so I recommend it over packing your own lunch. All in all, a beautiful vacation for us. Many thanks to the owner!

This is an old, traditional Skyrian house, and it was mostly clean, although we had some "roommates" while we were there. The large private yard and close walk to Aspous beach were good. The Wi-Fi gave us trouble, and practically speaking, we had no internet during our stay. At 90 euros/night without receipt, it's pretty pricey for what it offers.
