The staff were polite, and the breakfast was delicious, especially the homemade pies. The cleaning staff deserve congratulations too. We stayed at the start of July in the deluxe suit with sea view, with an excellent balcony view of both the sea and Astypalaia's famous windmills. The location was perfect, just a 5 min walk to the center.

The daily cleaning was the best part. We've stayed in many hotels over the years, but never had such professional cleaning as at Astypalaia Palace Hotel. After the kind young lady had cleaned, the room was spotless. Many thanks to her and the whole team. We'd be very happy to return, and we'll miss you guys! We spent two weeks here and couldn't have enjoyed our stay more. We booked at short notice, around 9 pm, and Mike kindly arranged a transfer from the port to the hotel that same night, at about 3 am. At the hotel, we were upgraded to the Executive Spa Suite with a private deck, heated whirlpool, a fantastic view of the bay, the Chora and the sea, and lots of space. Thanks so much for that. Next time, we'd book the Suite directly. Maria made a fantastic breakfast with fresh, newly baked treats every single day. The hotel is also within walking distance of the main square and the Chora.

The staff were warm and went out of their way to help, as were most people we met in Astypalaia. The room was very clean and well equipped, and the panoramic views across the city and sea were breathtaking. Breakfast was a great traditional island spread, and you should try the syrupy orange cake. The stay was way, way better than our wildest expectations. I thoroughly recommend this boutique hotel.

The balcony looks out over Chora and the sea, and I never got tired of the view. I even got lucky enough to catch a sunrise one morning. The rooms are tastefully decorated, bright and minimalistic, and the hosts are genuinely friendly and accommodating. They helped us rent transport and book tours. Breakfast really hits the spot, with savory and sweet options, including divine homemade apricot jam. We had a wonderful stay and highly recommend this hotel. You won't be disappointed.

Everyone was so friendly and accommodating, the true meaning of philoxenia. The rooms are amazing, and the location is super convenient, with beautiful views of picturesque Chora and it’s castle. And don't miss the delicious breakfast with homemade delicacies, especially the cheese pies and pasta Frolla (Flora).
