Zorbas Hotel - Hostel

The metro station is less than a minute away, and I liked the location, with cheap food and drinks nearby. The hostel is nice and inexpensive. Beds, rooms and toilets were very clean, and they clearly pay attention to that. The shared space is basic, but it’s easy to meet people if you want, and the staff are helpful. The kitchen is missing a lot of things. I’d definitely come back for those reasons.

I slept well in this quiet place. The room was clean, the bed comfortable, and the sheets fresh. Everyone was sweet and helpful, and the price was good. The only problem was the shower glass, which covered just one side, so it was impossible to shower without getting everything around it wet.

The staff were very friendly, and the rooms had clean, fresh sheets. The toilets and shower rooms were reasonably clean. I’d booked the wrong date, and the hostel was full when I arrived, but they let me use the common area. There’s a kitchen and fridge with pots and pans for cooking, although some expired food was left in the fridge. Clearing it weekly would help. The hostel is right by a metro station, but the Acropolis is quite far. It’s about 2.5 km, or a 40-minute walk, or you can take the metro for two stops.

I meant to stay five days, but ended up spending more than two weeks here. The price and location are really good, and the receptionists were super friendly and helpful. It’s also a great place to meet other travellers. I really recommend this hostel!
