2mazi Suites

The room was absolutely gorgeous, and the staff were kind and helpful. The location is fabulous too. A few things need attention: one shower head was broken, there was just one small blanket for the queen bed, the bin was tiny, and there wasn't a kettle. I'd rent it again, though I'd compare other options first.

Breakfast each morning was unforgettable, and dinner at the restaurant downstairs was a lovely surprise, with great dishes to end the day. 2 mazi suites sits in the heart of Plaka, just a few minutes on foot from the Acropolis, the new museum, bars, and restaurants. The suites feel luxurious, with beautiful interiors, detailed ornamental ceilings, big windows, and garden views. We had a really pleasant stay and couldn't have been more satisfied.

We were delighted with our stay at 2Mazi, which we booked through Expedia for the start and end of a summer trip. It was our first overseas trip with our three boys, aged 10, 7, and 2, and we wanted room to spread out. The suite was even larger than the photos: two big bedrooms, a sitting area, and an oversized bathroom gave us plenty of space. It looked recently renovated, with beautiful finishes and modern fixtures, and the bathroom was spotless and well equipped. Rania, Leo, Vasilli, and the owner went out of their way to make us comfortable, even finding a pack-and-play for our 2-year-old. The location was ideal too, about a five-minute walk to the Acropolis and its museum, Plaka shopping and restaurants, the Temple of Zeus, and the Panathenaic stadium. Plaka is easy to explore on foot and has loads of places to eat and shop. Make time for dinner at the 2Mazi restaurant next door, the Greek salad is the best in Athens.

Had a delicious glass of wine and a great dinner here. The service was both friendly and professional.
