Alice Inn Athens

Getting to the major tourist sites was easy, and the location also worked well for airport access. John, the owner, paid great attention to us and was helpful and tuned in to what we needed. We felt genuinely welcome, and the breakfast was very good. We’ll definitely return to Alice Inn on our next trip to Athens.

We had ten people, and there was plenty of room in the huge house. The kitchen was great, breakfast was laid out by the maid service each morning, and they tidied up as well. Food can be delivered, and there are excellent restaurants all around. The rooftop view overlooking the Acropolis is known as the best in Athens. Highly recommend staying here. We liked being able to come and go without anyone greeting us. The room was airy, comfortable, and very clean, with a great shower, fridge, kettle, tea, and coffee. Breakfast costs extra; it’s in the ground floor kitchen, where you can help yourself. The sights are very close.

It’s hard to imagine a more central spot. You’re close to the main attractions, the historic plaka quarter, transport, the big park, and the acropolis. The building is beautiful and old, but fully refurbished. The guy who runs the place is easy to like, part tour guide, concierge, and friend all in one.
