The reception and shared areas were in good shape, but the rooms were awful. There was mould on the bedroom ceiling and around cracks in the bath seal, which was broken or missing and let water leak around the bath. We had no hairdryer or smoke detector. I asked reception for a hairdryer, but it never arrived, and a broken smoke alarm was sitting in a drawer. During our four-night stay, the tea and coffee weren’t replenished. We had to ask for water glasses and milk on the first day, then for milk again each day. Very disappointing, and I couldn’t call this a four-star hotel.

We booked a family room for two nights through agoda.com. The first room was dirty, and the next one had fewer beds. They moved us again, to a room that seemed clean until we found used condoms in the bathroom. The online photos had been photoshopped, and what we booked didn’t match what we saw. They claim four stars, but it felt like zero. We left immediately without staying. Worst hotel experience ever.

We tried to keep an open mind, but the hotel was in very poor shape and didn’t resemble its online photos or a 4-star place. Outside, there were syringes on the ground and people who appeared to be using drugs. That’s not necessarily the hotel’s fault, but tourists should know about the surroundings. After we asked to see a room because of the bad reviews, staff said there were only two negative reviews from June, which wasn’t true. They showed us two rooms, and neither seemed cleaned. The floors and bathroom sink were dirty, there was mould around the bath and sink, and hairs were in the bedding. We also saw marks, spots of blood on the mattresses, and signs of bugs. We didn’t feel safe staying there and can’t recommend it. We’d booked through lastminute, where the reviews were positive, but saw the negative ones while checking the route on Google.

By the next morning, the receptionist kindly offered us 10 euros, and we left. The room was the worst place I’ve stayed in for a long, long time. I’ll have nightmares about it for the rest of my life. We’d booked a beautiful room that seemed to be in a different hotel. When we arrived, nobody mentioned any issue, and they handed us a key to a room nothing like the one we’d reserved. When we asked, they said our room had been given to someone else and this was the only option. The next morning, a lovely receptionist said we’d been upgraded to a triple room, with three single beds lined up together, so there was nothing they could do. Don’t book here, it’s a scam.
