It’s a lovely neighborhood with a great location and a view of Lycabettus Hill. We were greeted by a lovely young man at reception at 11:45 PM after our flight was delayed, although the desk was meant to close at 11:30 PM, which seemed odd for a 4 star hotel. The building is old but has been made into a modern hotel. Our room was cramped, but the huge terrace would be great in summer. In winter, it felt tight. There was no drinking water on our first night, and nowhere open to buy any that late; the receptionist had already gone home. There’s no elevator, which could be a problem for some. Staff forgot to put in toilet paper one day, so we asked at reception that evening, and there were no fresh towels either, though that wasn’t a big deal. The saddest part was being given a torn sheet. This has happened to me once before in a hotel, and it’s extremely rare.

Tucked away in a little alley in Kolonaki, the place was a lovely find. We had a large room, 4 & 6, and really enjoyed the private terrace. The people working there were super friendly. It was also easy to walk to the central sights, with plenty of nice bars and restaurants nearby.

Our two bedroom suite was lovely and worked perfectly for our family. The room was beautiful and exceeded what we expected, and the staff did everything they could to make us comfortable. We’d gladly book again when we return to Athens. 5/5 stars, and thanks for such a nice stay.

The city-centre location made it easy to get around, and the staff were welcoming, friendly, and ready to help. My room was spotless, one of the cleanest I’ve stayed in, and very comfortable. I can’t think of anything negative and would happily stay again. Highly recommended.

Balmain bathing products were a lovely little extra, and the bathroom and shower were the biggest I’ve seen in an Athens hotel. The room was thoughtful down to the floors and linen, and the hotel has an amazing location and vibe. I’d recommend staying here, and don’t miss the Rooftop Bar for brilliant cocktails.
